A White House aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters, said Goolsbee "felt this was an appropriate time to go back" to teaching economics at the University of Chicago. The aide said that Goolsbee, a longtime confidant of President Barack Obama, intended to remain an informal adviser to the president.

Appropriate time? The little bastard knows its beyond repair until the adults take over. If only we could find some adults now....

He said on This Week.

"If we hit the debt ceiling, that's ... essentially defaulting on our obligations, which is totally unprecedented in American history.  The impact on the economy would be catastrophic....I don't see why anybody's talking about playing chicken with the debt ceiling, if we get to the point where you've damaged the full faith and credit of the United States, that would be the first default in history caused purely by insanity."

It appears others,  here and here have a more truthful version of what will happen with that debt problem piled up by the Pelosi Congress........
Nothing from this administration can be trusted. Nothing........

(ABC News)- An aide close to Sarah Palin says death threats and security threats have increased to an unprecedented level since the shooting in Arizona, and the former Alaska governor’s team has been talking to security professionals.
Palin has taken much heat for her “crosshairs” map that targeted 20 congressional Democrats in the 2010 mid-term election, including that of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was the main target of Saturday’s attack.
Friends say Palin, a possible 2012 contender, was galled as suggestions of her role in the tragedy have swirled.

The only (political crosshairs) that will matter are the ones that will be on the likes of Ed Shultz, Paul Krugman, Andrea Mitchell and a longer list I don't care to name, besides you all know them. The usual suspects. They have become sickening. Fomenting anger and hate has replace real news on most networks today. If anyone in this country is responsible for the "heated political rhetoric" in our country it is the liberally biased media. 
Who is responsible for the deaths of six innocent people and the wounding of several others? 
A lone mentally disturbed man named Jared Loughner. Not Sarah Palin.

The little girl was born on September 11th, 2001, so her parents have been cursed with a horrific trifecta of high profile trauma: their daughter born on the worst day in our generations’ lives, their daughter murdered in an assassination attempt on a member of Congress, and Democrat Fred Phelps aiming his hate machine at their family during their daughter’s funeral.

Democrat Phelps (an enormous supporter of Al Gore’s, though the media conveniently leaves off that he’s a Democrat and instead likes to imply he’s a conservative, which he is not…he’s a Democrat, and ran repeatedly on the Democrat ticket unsuccessfully for several elected offices) disrupted the funeral of Elizabeth Edwards last month, because it is what he does.

Believe It Or Don't

I am inclined to believe it.
                                   

For those of you who have never traveled to the west, or southwest, cattle guards are horizontal steel rails placed at fence openings, in dug-out places in the roads adjacent to highways (sometimes across highways), to prevent cattle from crossing over that area.  For some reason the cattle will not step on the “guards,” probably because they fear getting their feet caught between the rails.

                                   

A few months ago, President Obama received and was reading a report that there were over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado .  The Colorado ranchers had protested his proposed changes in grazing policies, so he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to fire half of the “cattle guards” immediately!

Before the Secretary of the Interior could respond and presumably try to straighten President Obama out on the matter, Vice-President Joe Biden, intervened with a request that...before any “cattle” guards were fired, they be given six months of retraining for Arizona border guards.  “Times are hard,” said Joe Biden, “It’s only fair to the cattle guards and their families!”

This may be an oldie but it was a first read for me.
With the folks running the show now this is a real possibility.If not, its still worth the chuckle..........
